Visible Mending and Hand Mending Circle
Learn hand mending and patching at ABC! Do you have holes in jeans, jackets, tote bags or other fabric goods? Let us help you extend the life of your workwear or sentimental items by patching your clothing.
We will be using sashiko-inspired stitching and simple embroidery to fix holes. Patching clothing adds strength to weakened fabric as well an undeniable flair. All ability levels welcome: from absolute beginner who has never threaded a needle before to quilting pros.
We will provide basic supplies (needles, thread, patches, and pins) and instruction to get started on your mending journey.
In the middle of a project? Bring it along and sew with company!
Nothing to repair? Bring a tote bag and make a patch for a pocket!
